Ceremony for Hope
March 24 | 19:00 – 22:00

Description
Ceremony for Hope is a ritual to cope with climate grief, and to find lightness and hope again. In the face of the impeding climate catastrophes, we can feel a whole range of emotions: hopelessness, disheartenment, rage, sadness, grief, and despair. While it is unclear in what way our lives are going to be impacted, many feel that they will have to say farewell to things that are dear to them today.
Giving up what we love and care for, is not an easy task and comes with a lot of pain. And it is good that we feel and give space to that pain. It is in grief that we can also notice what truly matters to us, what makes us feel alive. Despite the numerous times this has been said: Life goes on — in bizarre, unexpected ways it throws invitations and opportunities at us, and eventually we will be ready again to throw ourselves at it.
Ceremony for Hope both wants to give space to what we grieve, so we find space within and among ourselves again to let the light back in.
